Wait, what? A Western Conference star headed East. Are we sure David Stern approved?

Mike Bibby has been rumored to be a trade target for the last three years and his final destination is quite unexpected. Sekou Smith of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution hinted at a big West-to-East trade yesterday. This afternoon, Smith outlined why this was a win for the Hawks.

Here's the deal...

Hawks Get:
Mike Bibby

Kings Get:
Tyronn Lue
Anthony Johnson
Shelden Williams
Lorenzen Wright

Hardly a loss for Sactown, either. Lue can play, and Shelden remains a quality four-man but was expendable with Al Horford's promise.

If you have a pulse in the East you have a chance. And if any team needed to do something to remind its fans it was still in the NBA it would be the Hawks. You hear that Hawks. 1	That starting line-up would do decent in the West. The Kings got less than I thought they would in return for Bibby. Lue is eh, Johnson is eh, Williams is crap, and Wright is okay.

Super Geek John Hollinger said the Kings didn't too bad a of deal here. He loved the deal for the Hawks saying something about his made up PER stat.

I read what Hollinger wrote, and he didn't seem to thrilled by that from the Kings angle. It's a salary dump, like Renegade said.

2	Hey now!! Mike Woodson must be a FanIQ member and saw my post about all of the trades. lol I'm just warning everyone.....if the Hawks make the playoffs, I'm gonna feel like they just made it to the championship game. And probably act like it.
