Dwight Howard and Chris Paul are hot commodities this off-season, but it seems like Howard's hometown Atlanta Hawks may pay a bit extra for their excitement.
Teams aren't allowed to discuss players who are still with another organization, but the Hawks' did just that.
In their letter to season-ticket holders, the Hawks wrote:
"Hot New Player News: Chris Paul and Dwight Howard – Player interest is skyrocketing as the possibilities of landing Chris Paul & Dwight Howard become more and more of a reality.”
If the NBA decides this is tampering, they'll be fined $25,000 to $100,000.
They should have just done this the normal way and leaked the information to Stephen A. Smith so he can cause a ruckus in Los Angeles.
That's more fun, isn't it?
