After not even starting until 6:30 and only completing 87 laps, the race will be completed Monday at 1:00. It amazes me that NASCAR even tried after about 11:00 ET to try to fit this race in. It's hard enough for fans watching on TV, but what about the people in the stands? Some people have been there for over 12 hours. I guess that is a risk you take at live sporting events. The Nationwide race will also be run on Monday, following the conclusion of the Sprint Cup race. I wonder how many Sprint Cup drivers are mad now that they have to hang around and race in the Nationwide race? Anyway, after dominating this first part of the race, I wouldn't be surprised to see Jeff Gordon continue on just as strong throughout the rest of the race.
