act that will feature the conference champion in the Discover Orange Bowl beginning on New Years Day in 2014, reports Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports.The Orange Bowl will be the annual partner of the ACC, and if the conference champion is recognized as one of the top four teams by the Bowl Championship Series selection committee, then that team will go on to play in the national semifinals and another team from the ACC would then appear in its place.
The game is set for 1:00 p.m. ET, and the Orange Bowl will host at least four semis over the 12 years. More details will continue to be discussed up until spring of 2013.
