Solid night of college football if you've got the Versus network to compliment the ACC game on ESPN.
Brigham Young has its BCS bowl game hopes on the line tonight against the No. 1 ranked defense of Texas Christian University. Gary Patterson is as good a defensive coach in college football and he'll bring everything at Max Hall tonight.
The last time BYU played a tough road game, they were the beneficiary of a touchy touchdown celebration rule and barely scrapped by the second-worst team in the Pac-10. Whether the Cougars are worthy of a No. 9 ranking remains to be scene. I'm certainly skeptical.
I do think BYU's defense is worth more hype than the offense, and for that reason alone they should pull out a tough victory tonight.
