On Sunday, the United States will be taking on Barbados in their first qualifying match for the 2010 World Cup. The two teams will face off in a home-and-away series over the next two weekends, with the loser going home. The U.S. will be looking to continue the momentum from their 0-0 draw against Argentina, but goals have been scarce lately.

You know what else is apparently scarce? Quality soccer players in Barbados. The national team is advertising on its website, desperate for players (judging by the website, they apparently play on Saturn, so it's no wonder they have trouble finding people willing to play).
