Here are NFL Trade Rumors for Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns.
Chicago Bears
Media is frantically searching for any developments to the Lance Briggs situation but Chicago hasn’t come up with any updates yet. Last week, Briggs expressed his desire to retire from NFL. This came as quite a shocker to both club and fans as the 31-year-old has recently inked a contract extension.
Briggs’ contract extension asks him to play for Chicago till the end of the 2014 season. This means Chicago should start training Brigg’s successor. Luckily, on the flip side, Matt Forte is seeking a new contract with Chicago.
Forte was going to skip Bears’ voluntary works over the lack of a deal, however the issues between the player and the club now seem resolved.
Cincinnati Bengals
There isn’t too much going around in the Cincinnati camp, however this past week the club did make a significant move.
Cincinnati traded off their star linebacker Keith Rivers to the New York Giants for a fifth-round pick in the 2012 drafts. This means something interesting is brewing in the Cincinnati camp. Experts and analysts have tried to come forth with various theories but none of them hit the mark.
Rumor has it Cincinnati are going to pick cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick with their No. 21 overall pick.
Buffalo Bills
Sources have revealed Buffalo’s interest in quarterback Ryan Tannehill. This news was just a rumor last week but came up with a spicy update to change that.
According to them the Texas A&M quarterback will visit Buffalo this week. Many experts expect this to be his orientation but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
Buffalo needed to come up with a plan in the offseason because of quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick’s dismissive form. Fitzpatrick has been unimpressive ever since he received a massive seven-year contract worth $62.195 million.
Tannehill’s addition to the squad will bring back competition in the team and perhaps reignite Fitzpatrick’s former form. Buffalo could pick Tannehill with their No. 10 overall pick.
Cleveland Browns
Rumor has it Cleveland Browns are interested in trading off their No. 4 overall pick. This will give a massive boost to any team in the 2012 NFL Draft.
Philadelphia Eagles were being linked with a trade but their interest has faded away or all of this is a hoax.
