Leryn Franco continues to be my highlight of these Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, even though she hasn't competed yet, but Bela Karolyi is running a close second.

There's nothing more enjoyable than watching, listening, or just being around people while they're talking about what they're most passionate about. It's inspiring, and basically the only reason I find Dick Vitale tolerable.

That's what has made Bela Karolyi's appearances with Bob Costas during women's gymnastics competition so thoroughly refreshing. If you have just 1/3 of the passion towards your career, life, that Bela has toward gymnastics, chances are you're having a very fulfilling life.

I showed you a screen shot of Bela's celebration during Nastia Liukin's floor routine, but now there's moving pictures that should keep you smiling all day.

If Jimmy Valvano doesn't mind, I'd like to add one additional activity to complete a full day. If you spend some time in thought, if you laugh, if you have your emotions moved to tears... and if you go all Bela Karolyi, that's a full day, that's a heckuva day.
