Ben Cousins To Tigerland?

As many Aussie Rules fans would know, Richmond is currently attempting to give fallen West Coast Eagle star & 2005 Brownlow Medalist, Ben Cousins, a lifeline.

After being axed from the Eagles last year for repeat drug offences & overall bad behaviour, the Tigers have taken a keen interest & liking to Cousins, who Richmond say could fit right into their midfield, as he has superb ball skills & is extremely useful around the ground.
The Tigers are planning to put injured defender Graham Polak on the rookie list while he is still recovering from being hit by a tram earlier this year, as it seems he will not play next year. If this is approved this means Richmond will gain an extra pick in the Pre-Season draft, which could let them choose a youngster & possibly, Cousins.

The club is still in talks with the AFL about negotiating the deal which could lead to one of the greatest players of the last decade coming to Victoria.
