New Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley is a guy who is known for yelling at players now and then, and that probably won't change when he starts guiding the Steelers offense this year.
Despite having a reputation (misguided as it may be) for being one of the toughest QBs in the NFL, Roethlisberger is not a fan of that particular coaching style, as he said in a radio interview in Pittsburgh yesterday.
I have a hard time believing that his fellow players will be impressed with his statements. Out of all sports, football is the one in which it seems like coaches yell at players the most. Every other player is accustomed to getting yelled at, and it's bizarre that Roethlisberger somehow thinks he's special.
Haley made it clear in his press conference that sensitivity isn't his thing, so you can be sure that he'll get in Big Ben's face at some point, probably after another laughably bad interception or a sack after 10 seconds in the pocket. I wonder how Big Ben will take it.
I'm sure they'll discuss this when Haley and Roethlisberger finally meet and discuss things, but for now, Ben might just want to sit down and grab a snickers.
