Beyonce will perform at this year's Super Bowl halftime show

According to an AP source, Beyonce will perform the halftime show at the Super Bowl in February of next year.

Ever since Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction in 2004, the Super Bowl has generally featured older acts. Sure, there were the Black Eyed Peas a couple years ago, but that was sandwiched in between ancient acts like Madonna, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, the Who, Prince, and Paul McCartney.

Beyonce is sure to bring in viewers from both the male and female demographics, and perhaps of all ages.

Who knows, perhaps there's a chance that her husband and hip-hop legend Jay-Z will also make an appearance.
