Sure I understand that I am playing into the hands of the BCS in that here we are discussing the BCS and who should or should not be the National Champion. But I do not care, I like the article and if we can't remove the structure can we at least lobby for a better method of determining the National Champions?
Now I am of the playoff mindset and would love to see a structure set up that would create a playoff system enough fair enough to the teams, the players and fans. A system that would also maintain a streamlined schedule of lower tiered bowls as a reward to teams that may not make the cut and also to establish interesting inter-sectional games. But that is not going to happen, well at least not now, and who knows when. It maybe never if the BCS can still draw fans and make big bread. However this article is an interesting one to chew on about the BCMess.
