Covering all the bases from a Sunday in baseball ...
DBacks atop crowded NL W(b)est Ari 4, NYM 1 I'll be curious to see how you rank the NL teams in this week's fan rankings. Following this weekend, particularly Arizona's series win in New York, there's little doubt the best baseball is out west. Just check out this morning's standing, the anti-NL Central:

A-Rod paps the Sox NYM 6, Bos 5 Must have been a fun night at the local strip club after Rodriguez' game winning home run of Papelbon. A-Rod definitely delivered, but I want to give Red Sox fans an honorary (?) Stud award for their performance this weekend. Whether is was the Blonde masks Friday night, chanting HAH! each time there was a pop fly in his direction, or the deafening 'Where is Roger' cry yesterday after the Yanks blew a lead. Bravo Bo Sox!
Who didn't get tossed this weekend? Tor 4, Chw 3 What's going on in Chicago? While Lou was likely holed up in an upstairs bedroom deciding whether to end it all, Ozzie Guillen was inspired enough to follow the leader. Everything else for Sox was standard MO: decent start, bullpen blows lead.
Victorino! Phi 9, SF 8 Now that's how you celebrate your own bobblehead night! Remember the Fun Over Replacement Player stat last week ... add Shane to my list.
Uh-oh, Did someone wake up Pujols? Stl 8, Hou 6 As absurd as this sounds, the Cardinals are very much alive in the NL Central. 2-Albert Pujols home runs later and the Red Birds are in 2nd place. Nevermind the 6-under .500 record. That's actually quite good in the Comedy division.
Feel free to add on to any important notes I left off.
