Covering all the bases from Tuesday in baseball ...
Indians 6, White Sox 5 Garko! Pinch-hitting in the bottom of the 9th, Ryan Garko hit a two-run game tying home run. Then followed it up with a game winning single in the 11th.
Phillies 15, Dodgers 3 Enough of this losing thing, the Phillies were gunning for 10,001 hits yesterday. Victorino and Rowand both racked up hits apiece, and Howard added 2 home runs. Every time the good Phillies show up, I'm convinced they've got a big run left in the tank.
Royals 9, Red Sox 3 Leo Nunez made his first career start at Fenway and held his own. That Soria guy is pretty good, too.
Yankees 3, Blue Jays 2 Thanks to Jeremy Accardo's brilliant decision to step off the mound, the Pinstripes gained another game on the Sox.
Rangers 11, A's 4 For sake of all Athletics fans, I'm hoping they win a good soon. Feels like it's been since the Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.
