Ray Bourque may have finally hoisted the Stanley Cup and retired as a member of the Colorado Avalanche, but he was and will always be remembered as a staple of the Boston Bruins.  The two names were as synonymous with each other as Gwynn and San Diego, Lemieux and Pittsburgh, and Marino and Miami.  Now comes word that the two names will be back together again.

Ray's son Chris, who was drafted 33rd overall by the Capitals in 2004, and appeared in 20 games for the Penguins two seasons ago, was traded to the Bruins tonight in exchange for center Zach Hamill being sent to our Nation's Capital.  The 26-year old second generation defenseman will play for a team that his father was a part of for 21 years.

Bourque and Boston together again.  Somehow, all seems right in the world of hockey tonight.
