Blog Photo - Boston College and Notre Dame may play a game at Fenway ParkTwo of the biggest Catholic universities in America may soon be playing a football game in one of the nation's cathedrals of baseball.

According to ESPN, Notre Dame and Boston College are in talks to play their 2015 "Holy War" in Fenway Park, the oldest and most beloved baseball stadium in Major League Baseball, and the home of the 2013 World Series champion Boston Red Sox.

This would be the first college football game ever played at Fenway, although the New England Patriots have played NFL games there in the past.

There have also been hockey games played there, between the Winter Classic between the Bruins and Flyers, and also some college hockey games.

Fenway is a bit small and it seems like football would be a tight squeeze, but it has happened before, so apparently it's possible.

What do you think? Would you want to attend a football game at Fenway Park?

Fenway is my favorite ballpark that I've visited so I'll be excited to see this, but I wonder how well a football field is going to fit in there.  Its pretty small and if you get an aerial view from Prudential Tower you realize just how small it is.  That all said, this should be cool.

Yeah, I was pretty surprised too. It's tiny. But apparently they've played football there before, so I guess it works somehow.
