Chicago Bears WR Brandon Marshall has heard about all of the latest suspensions in the NFL for Adderall, but it sounds like he's a little more concerned about another drug that's becoming prevalent on NFL fields.
"I don't know too much about Adderall. I know guys, it is such a competitive league, guys try anything just to get that edge. I'm fortunate enough to be blessed with size and some smarts to give me my edge. But some guys, they'll do whatever they can to get an edge. I've heard of some crazy stories. I've heard guys using like Viagra, seriously. Because the blood is supposedly thin, some crazy stuff. So, you know, it's kind of scary with some of these chemicals that are in some of these things so you have to be careful."
Apparently I haven't done enough research, because I'm unaware of whatever Viagra does to help someone be a better football player.
I do, however, believe that it would be highly inconvenient and potentially painful to play a professional football game with an erection.
I also believe that popping Viagra before or during a game might make for a really awkward locker room after the game.
Apparently Viagra can enhance blood flow, and not just to the reproductive organ, and that helps improve endurance. On the field, that is.
I guess people will try ANYTHING to get up for games these days.

See Suh, was checking to see if Shaub was using Viagra.... when he kicked him during the game. He wanted to take the edge away.
