I would love to get in a fantasy football league with Max, because he's either the funniest guy around, or he's the worst fantasy football player EVER.
When I participate in keeper leagues, I try to follow a pretty strict strategy. Only use keeper spots on young players, and make sure those young players are good. If I think I could possibly pick up a better player by drafting from the remaining players, then he's not worth keeping.
By ESPN's scoring system, Brett Favre was the 16th best fantasy QB. In most leagues (10-12 teams), he wouldn't even crack the starting lineup. Add that to the fact that he'll turn 40 the day before his week 5 game, and that he STILL isn't a lock to play at all, and it's clear that Max has officially declared his stupidity for the entire country to see.
Way to go, Max. Glad you got your quarterback. Have fun in last place.
