Brett Favre New York Jets Debut: NFL Preseason Week 2 Live Thread
Fatigued Arm + Fatigued Story = ???
Brett Favre New York Jets

If you're privy to the NFL Network, and could use a little less Olympic swimming, you'll have a chance to witness Brett Favre's debut with the New York Jets.

Favre admits he doesn't know much of the offense, which we probably won't see hiim out there for long. Nonetheless, it's going to be difficult not to watch.

In addition, you likely have a local game in your market. For me that means an opportunity to see Rex Grossman and Kyle Orton complete passes to Devin Hester the Seattle Seahawks.

If you want to talk some football tonight, here's your place.

Hate to say it, but for not having much time in the offense Favre looked pretty damn good.

Anyway, Favre will do great as he has or 16 years. The Seahawks will beat the Bears. Soundly. And Favre will be fine.

Aaron Rodgers also has looked pretty good today. Favre apologists will point to the interception and the lack of a TD, but will conveniently forget about Lee's drop in the end zone, Driver's drop on the long pass that would have most likely resulted in a TD, and Driver's complete lack of effort on the INT, which is what allowed Goldson to pick it off.

Rodgers played well today, but some of his WR's (Driver in particular) failed him big time.

Are you kidding me?  Rodgers looked good today?  What was that supposed to get you a "funny" ... Rodgers looks like crap -- about as great as expected.  He's indecisive, he's holding the ball way too long, he's been sacked 4 times in ONE HALF (can't wait to watch half two) and he's 9/17 for Christ's Sake!   And the interception that was overturned was PRICELESS.... Driver isn't failing him ... he's failing all on his own -- showing with each and every play that he can't handle the pressure and make a decision..... Watching the game today just made it real that I actually have to watch this BS for the next 4 months.  AWESOME.

Brett looked very good for having practiced under a week... I was honestly quite surprised.

Oh and I'll also say that O'Sullivan looks pretty good (better than Rodgers for sure) -- he didn't look so hot at the beginning but as the game has gone on ... he looks much improved.  Looks like he really wants that starter position...

34-6 -- if I survive this season with my Packers it'll be a miracle.

Why am I not surprised to see such intelligent, unbiased analysis from you? Did you see Driver flat out drop that pass in the first drive? They got the first down anyway on a penalty, but that should have been a TD. And the Goldson INT was because Driver didn't even put his hands out to catch the ball.

And the 4 sacks are obviously because the offensive line has been collapsing around him all day. Maybe he should be getting rid of the ball a LITTLE sooner, but remember that we're talking about a guy with very little NFL experience. If you weren't so blind to all things not Favre, you would recognize that the Packers are in very capable hands for the near future.

Its going to be a long season in Green Bay.  We keep shifting our O-linemen around, which tells me that our coaching staff can't figure out why they suck so much.  No O-line = no offense.
