Brett Lawrie falls into the dugout, doesn't get injured
MLB, Toronto Blue Jays, Brett Lawrie, Brett Lawrie fall

I don't know how Brett Lawrie didn't get hurt here, but that was almost an amazing play

June 24, 2012; Miami, FL, USA; Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Brett Lawrie (13) throws during the seventh inning against the Miami Marlins at Marlins Park. Marlins won 9-0. Mandatory Credit: Steve Mitchell-US PRESSWIREBlue Jays 3rd baseman Brett Lawrie has a bright future ahead of him, which is why Jays fans must have held their breath a little bit last night when he went diving into a camera well in a futile attempt to catch a foul ball.

Lawrie fell about 6 feet over a ledge onto the concrete floor. His leg hit a metal pole when he landed, and he definitely felt it a bit, as he said after the game.

"It's sore right now, just a little stiff, it just felt like someone took a bat and crushed me in the back of the leg. It's like a stiff Charley Horse right now, it will be all right. That took most of the pain, everything else was fine for me. It hurt, but that took the pain away from everything else."

He's listed as day-to-day, and x-rays came back negative.
