Last week Eric Mangini was the accuser. This week the finger is pointed in his direction from Brian Billick. Let me first say that may have been worst instance of cheating ever. I don't mean the crime was bad ... the execution. Not once did they sack Kyle Boller and they allowed over a 100 yards rushing."They did an outstanding job. I credit the New York Jets," Billick said sarcastically. "Their defensive line and linebackers did a very, very effective job of illegally simulating the snap count. It needs to be caught.
"It's not an excuse by any stretch of the imagination, but it is illegal," Billick added. "I don't know how to help my linemen with that because you're in the heat of battle and you're calling the snap count, and the guy across from you is also calling the snap count - which is illegal."
This finger pointing is going to start becoming a weekly occurrence, and most of it will be directed at Eric Mangini. At least by those that currently "bend" the rules and aren't happy that Mangini exposed them.
