British Final Round Update: Sergio Garcia Collapse In Progress
READ MORE:

Not a drastic collapse, but that 4 stroke lead Sergio Garcia was sporting earlier this morning has vanished. Maybe the painful pairing of orange and red was the way to go for El Nino; visually punishing the competition in blurred eyesight.

Through 10 holes, Garcia is at 7-under alongside Padraig Harrington. A bevy of golfers are sitting at 6-under. Garcia's final pairing partner Steve Stricker looks like he could vomit any moment. If there is someone prime for a Van de Velde moment today, it's unfortunately him.

Feel free to discuss the final holes of the British Open here and get ready for a playoff. (AP Photo/\Matt Dunham)

Painful.  Simply painful.

It would be more painful if I were a Sergio fan.

There are a few CERTAIN events in sports. Sergio missing key shots on Sunday is one of them.

With the lead he had, I really believed that he'd be able to shoot par today and win.  Of course, he could have won if he shot par.  It was the shooting par thing that got him tripped up.

It's not painful like '99, but still kind of painful.

He gave it a good run.  Although I'm not really a fan of Sergio, I do feel badly for him.
