The conditions are less than ideal at Royal Birkdale this morning. OK, wayyy less than ideal. It's cold, it's wet and it's ugly. And John Daly is on the course, so there's that.
Just a few golfers are getting under par in the early holes, with the rest over par. Our dear friend Jean Van De Velde is just a few back. Wouldn't that be a fun weekend story if he could stick around?
