It took a 2-hole playoff, but Bubba Watson is your 2012 Masters champion.Watson shot a 4-under 68 in the final round, leaving him in a tie with Louis Oosthuizen at 10 under for the tournament.
They went to a sudden-death playoff, starting on hole 18. Both players shot a 4, sending it to the 10th hole for the win. Watson made par with a 4, but Oosthuizen could only manage a bogey 5, giving Watson the win.
This is Watson's first Major championship, and only his 3rd career win on the PGA Tour.
Congrats to Bubba Watson, the 2012 Masters champion!

I was doing yard work and running inside every half hour or so to watch. I damn near cried right along with Bubba when he was celebrating. As Duncan said, it couldn't have gone to a nicer guy.

I also don't watch a lot of golf but it was the only game in town so to speak ( nothing else worth watching at that time period ) , got a question for the poster of this article - since Bubba Watson won the green jacket why on earth is the picture of Louis Oosthuizen doing being shown - snafu deluxe in my opinion !

Awesome! Don't watch a lot of golf but I really really, really like Bubba Watson. With all the other PGAers hanging around to watch him shows you what type of guy he is. Green jacket couldn't have gone to a nicer guy.

I don't watch a lot of golf so take this for what it's worth but Watson's 2nd shot on the second playoff hole was the best, most clutch shot I've ever seen.
