-St. Joe's: Uh Oh. There's probably a compelling case for them to be in. In their own conference, I would say Dayton looks better...But..they finished lower, and was eliminated earlier. Not horribly damaging to the Bubble nation.
-Arkansas. Probably in now. Big win against Tennessee; too bad you couldn't see it anywhere.
Probably drops Tennessee into a #2 slot. I just don't see them now as a #1
-Kent State. At this point, heros of what's left of the Bubble. If they don't blow their big lead, it saves a spot.
-UCLA: I think they're a lock to be a #1. Forget about the zebra controversy; I think, depending on matchups, they could look real good to reach the Final Four (I've picked them the get there the last two years)
At the moment, what does this to Bubbles in waiting?
In: Arkansas, South Alabama, Kansas State, Texas A&M and perhaps St. Joe's, Kentucky and Illinois State. Teams like St.Mary's, UNLV and BYU shouldn't have to worry.
Still not buying: Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Dayton, UMass, Mississippi, VCU, and sadly, Baylor
#1's: UNC,UCLA and Memphis now for sure. The last slot could now come down to the Kansas/Texas game tomorrow
#2's: Kansas/Texas, Tennessee, Georgetown (if they win tonight), Duke
I'm actually going to wrap up my live stuff for the day. I'll do a recap tomorrow, then we're on to the great debate!
