Buffalo Bills Lose Another Game On A Missed Field Goal, Wide Right
This Whole "Wide Right" Thing In Buffalo Has To End Soon

The Bills managed to lose a very winnable game to the Browns on Monday Night Football. How'd they do it? In classic Buffalo Bills fashion. With a missed field goal that was wide right. Jim Kelly was thrilled...

As a Patriots fan, I don't feel terribly bad for the Bills. I had an ex-girlfriend who was a Bills fan, and when I went up to her parents' house in Buffalo, it just seemed fitting that they would be the most infamous losers in the NFL. It's a town content with being average. Even their "superstars" are average. Her brother excitedly told me tales of seeing JP Losman in a bar that he frequents. Yes, you read that correctly. He was excited about JP Losman.

Plus, they kiss Chris Berman's @$$. What the hell?

Only in Buffalo is a 47-yard field goal considered easy.  Bills fans carry on like Norwood missed a 25 yard chip shot indoors with no defense on the field.  It was a 47 yard field goal to win the Super Bowl, just like it was a 47 yarder last night.  It was by no means a "gimme" to begin with.  Stop whining, Bills fans!

Well no matter the outcome of that field goal, there were going to be fans of either team looking to jump into Lake Erie and end the pain.

I am a proud member of the Polar Bear Club thanks to the Cleveland area sports franchises

The Bills are guaranteed to be about 8-8 every season with Dick Jauron.  Jauron is nothing if not good at being average.  The look on Romeo Cornell's face was priceless.  He couldn't believe his team actually won. Thanks for the parting shot at Chris Berman, Pat.  Anybody who uses the royal "we" when talking about himself deserves to get kicked around.  Let him "circle the wagons" about that.

Way to judge an entire fanbase based on one cheesy family containing a daughter with a horrendous taste in boys. I'm sure Pats fans were never "content with being average" despite never being good until Brady and Belichick. I'm sure you Pats fans all demanded that the Patriots draft Brady in the sixth round because you knew he was a future Hall of Famer because you aren't content with being average despite a looooong history of losing. I'm sure you knew Belichick would be one of the greatest head coaches ever in Boston based on his losing career coaching percentage before arriving. Right? "Content with being average." What a bunch of crap.

Come to the Ralph sometime, we'll show you how "content" we are.

Is that an invitation? Send me a ticket, and I'd be more than happy to show up. I'll even wear a Patriots jersey.

You obviously are very immature when it comes to sport, sportsmanship and historical knowledge.
For the record, as a football fan for 48 + years I have never heard any Bills fan whine about any loss, Super Bowl or not.
I am a Bills fan for 48+ years.
I also happen to be a life long Red Sox fan, so I know the pain of losing.
You typify the “new” breed of Boston fan who only knows winning, congratulations on all your triumphs. You obviously will not be prepared for future disappointments. One must know how to lose, and how to win. You know neither.
It is disappointing to me that Boston fans are truly the most classless (lately) when in fact they should be the most proud amongst us.

You know what happens to people who "know how to lose"?

They get good at it, and that's all they do.
