CC Sabathia Mansion In Alpine, New Jersey
CC Sabathia Can Get Over Those Tough Losses By Chilling In His New Mansion

CC Sabathia didn't have a very good first outing with the Yankees, nor did he have a very good spring training. But whatever, the man signed a $161 million contract and no one can take that away from him.

But where can CC retreat to after a bad loss? Why, his $15 million mansion of course. Yes, above is CC's new pad in Alpine, New Jersey, home to other such annoying stars as Sean "Diddy" (or whatever the hell he's calling himself these days) Combs. Anyway, here are the details on CC's place.

NJMLS# 2908472
Original List Price: $15,000,000
Under Contract Date: 2/24/2009
Closed: 4/8/2009
Sale Price: $14,900,000
Transaction: CASH

Yes, you read that last line right. The man bought a $15 million home with straight cash. That unfortunately leaves him with just a few dollars left to spare on the landscaping. I'll be pulling for you, CC. Just promise me that you won't go with geraniums.

Well C.C. looks like you are going have to cut back and only have one solid gold rocket car if you going to have that house landscaped properly.

It looks like a nice house, but $15 mil?  It doesn't look that nice and before you east coasters chime in, I'm aware that the housemarket on the right coast is out of control.

Hell, Tony Soprano's house looked just as nice IYAM.

I'm from Massachusetts, where the market is as ridiculous as ever, but I agree with you. That being said, I'm not familiar with the Alpine, NJ area. I'm going to have to assume that it's an insanely nice area.

Median home price is $3.4M? Sounds like $15M is the market price for that house.

Beverly Hills would rock Alpine, New Jersey.

See what we could all have, just by going 16-12 every year, with a 4,42 era...wow.
