CC Sabathia started for the Brewers last night. Which means the Brewers won, and Sabathia gave them a great start. Because quite frankly, that's all he has done since arriving in Milwaukee.

Sabathia went 7 innings for the Brewers, giving up 9 hits, but only 1 run, with 8 K's, to pick up the 7-1 win over the Padres. Corey Hart went 3-5 with 3 RBI, as Sabathia improved his record to 7-0 with the Brewers.

Mark Teixeira hit 2 home runs and had 3 RBI for the Angels, but it wasn't enough. Raul Ibanez had 4 hits, and Wladimir Balentien's 3-run HR in the 12th inning was the difference-maker, leading the Mariners to a 10-7 extra-innings victory against the Angels.

Ernie Banks would have been proud, as the Cubs and Braves played 2, with the Cubs winning both.
