Oh kids these days! They are too wrapped up in their own egos to realize that there is a big bad world out there. Employers and colleges are now starting to look up applicants names on these sites to get an idea of what they are really like. I heard about a doctor applying for a position with a hospital in Chicago. They looked her up in the morning before her interview to see her friends posting pictures of her passed out drunk, spread eagle, no panties, at a party...oh and it gets better... one was timestamped in the picture from just a few hours before that. . Do you really think you're getting hired after that? It's all fun when the party is going on, but they are too damn stupid to realize actions have consequences. I'm glad they fired her, now hopefully she will learn to grow up a bit and become a productive member of society. If not, there always a spot on some VH1 charm school i'm sure.

I don't know about anyone else, but the rules when I was in college were if you passed out before midnight....fair game. If you passed out with your shoes on after midnight....fair game.

First. I completely believe this is a case of JEALOUSY. Think about it. Prettiest girl on the squad. Most photographed ROOKIE. YOUNGEST GIRL ON THE TEAM in NFL History. Those older UGLY cheerleaders that had been on for their 3 years must have been completely GREEN with envy. Most of them are in their late 20's and their being show up by a teenager?? Give me a break.

I agree. You are given an opportunity most are not. If you are in the public eye, you have to either act right or at least have the sense to try and hide it. She didn't. If you don't want to be held to that standard, don't get a job in the public sector. It's just like these celebrities that bitch and moan that they have no privacy. This isn't about jealousy. This is about how you carry yourself as an employee of a NFL franchise and a global brand. The o-lineman from the U. of Texas doesn't get to organize an "N-word" hunt on his Myspace, and Pretty Pretty Princess here doesn't get to do stupid drunken things and post them on Facebook for all to see without being held accountable.

That's the trade-off. If you're an average working stiff this is ignored. When you work for the New England Patriots, it's not.

You better believe there's a double standard, whether you like it or not. The NFL superstar with a checkered past earns the franchise more money than the underfed, surgically-enhanced empty helmet who fancies herself a "dancer" and "actress". Nobody has said it was right for her but wrong for an NFL player. In fact, if you read my last post, I said the football player at the University of Texas deserved exactly what he got, too. I didn't make excuses for him.

There's really no reason to call Pat names either. He doesn't make the rules and neither do I.

Of course all employees of the NFL or any company should be held to the same standard, but then there's reality. It ain't gonna happen. Double standards exist in the NFL and in life. Nobody said it was fair.
