Last year, the Florida Gators were ranked as high as Number. 2 in the country, only behind Alabama, before losing to UGA (Georgia). Yet, they still got a BCS Bowl Berth against Louisville, but were defeated by the Cardinals 33-23. But, that's not to say last year wasn't successful. They did beat higher ranked LSU, and bitter enemy Florida State. But, if they would have defeated Georgia, it would have been Alabama and Florida in the National Championship, because we all know that Notre Dame was a bad opponent for Bama, heck, Georgia Tech would have played better.

But, that was last year. The past.

This year has been pretty much disastrous for the Gators. As of November 18th (When this article was written) they sit at 4-6, with 2 games left. You need to win at least 6 games to make a bowl game.

Two games left. Two wins short. Get where im going here?
They should win at least one of those two games, the one against Georgia Southern, but, uh, the other one… yea, that's FSU. The same team that beat #3 Clemson 51-14, and #7 Miami by, what, 30 points? They score about 45 points a game. Basically, FSU could beat Alabama, which some people are saying could be a Dynasty (Im one of those People). Im a Gator fan, I hate FSU with all my heart and soul can muster.

Long story short, Florida has to win their final two games against Georgia Southern and FSU to make a bowl game. Lose one… you miss.

Looks like Florida's season hangs on whether or not they can beat FSU, and the way FSU is playing, well, doesn't look so good for Florida. But hey, it's an intense rivalry, anybody has a chance at winning… right?
