The Washington Capitals kicked off a five game home stand beating the Colorado Avalanche 2-1 last night. (Yes, we apologize for the late game review and realize you probably have already read one, we know, we know, we know). The game was scoreless through the first two periods, despite total domination on the ice by the Capitals.
