Tarik at the Washington Post is reporting the Washington capitals have announced they plan to retire Mike Gartner’s #11. Gartner’s #11 will be the fourth number in Washington Capitals history to be retired and never to be worn again, and will join Rod Langway (5), Yvon Labre (7) and Dale Hunter (32).
