So, seeing as he was one of the worst free agent signings in Yankees history, when he was introduced yesterday at Yankee Stadium the boo birds came out...even on the scoreboard.

Man, that's just cold. Even the hearing impaired now know how much people hate Carl Pavano.
But the good news is that the Opening Day cruelty didn't end there. No sir. After CC Sabathia left the game, and the bullpen proceeded to give up 9 runs in the 7th, fans started chanting "We want Swisher!"
Hey, at this rate, I think there's a damn good chance that Swisher becomes the key setup man for Mariano Rivera by late May.
The dislike for Carl Pavano was close captioned for the hearing impaired [Deadspin]

What Carl Pavano is thinking at this moment:
"Aw that's not very nice. When I'm laying in my whirlpool tub in my 800 sq. ft. bathroom watching this on Sportscenter tonight on my plasma TV mounted over the toilet, I'll have to make sure one of my 25-person waitstaff fetches me a box of Kleenex, just in case I shed a tear over the cruelty of these people."

Pavano could not hear the boos his ears were packed with wads of cash he took from the Yankees.

what would have made for an even better article would have been had someone captured this picture later in the game when the crowd was booing at the Yankees

Things like this almost make me like Yankees fans. And then I remember that they're still Yankees fans.

Yes the crowd was pretty harsh but if you look at Pavano he was laughing................................... All the way to the bank to cash that 40 million
