His newest revelation revived the rumors that Carmelo Anthony is headed to Los Angeles during free agency.

The New York Knicks player previously said that he’s going to stay in New York, and since it’s where he’s from, there’s a lot of reason to think Melo might leave.

However, on First Take, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith said, "Right now if you ask me Carmelo Anthony is GONE. He's going to L.A. to play with Kobe Bryant."

It’s interesting that someone who likes to shoot as much as Carmelo does would want to play with Kobe, who is also notorious for taking a lot of shots, but the two of them could still see lots of shot attempts in Mike D’Antoni’s offense. Carmelo would also be a possible player that the Lakers could try and build around over the next few years.
