To steal a line from Ball Don't Lie: "The Battle of the Teams With Too Many Holes" continues to Game 6 in Washington.
This series would be over if not for Gilbert Arenas putting himself on the bench for the remainder of the season with a "bum knee." If Agent Zero is observant at all, and we believe he is, he's noticed that the best the Wizards have played all season and into the playoffs has been with him on the pine.
Caron Butler becomes the go-to, take over the game guy that he should be. For whatever reason, he becomes reluctant and less aggressive when paired with Gilbert. That's most because he's bored of watching Arenas attempt to take over the league lead in dribbles.
So with Arenas in his finest attire on the sideline, Caron kept the Wiz around late when it appears Cleveland was pulling away. Then, he performed his best Lebron James impression ... twice.
Butler hit the game winner with 3.8 seconds left, but he wasn't done.
“He told me to miss the shot so we would go back to D.C.,” James said. “There it was.”I like Gilbert, it's hard not to, but hopefully the Wizards recognize their future is brightest with Caron and without Agent Zero.
