Celtics Win Tight One While Suns and Mavericks Win Big [NBA Triple Threat]
Barack Obama Wasn't The Only One With A Big Victory Tonight
NBA Triple Threat: Your daily roundup of last night's action in the Association. I didn't too much attention to NBA tonight so this might be breif.

Boston 103 Houston 99
Boston's big 3 outplayed Houston's big 3 as the Celtics as the Celtics bounced back from the loss to Indiana over the weekend and handed Houston their first loss. Ray Allen led the way for the Celtics with 29 points and Kevin Garnett added a double-double. Tracy McGrady had 26 points but on a three points attempt late in the 4th quarter and the Rockets only down 4, he got fouled and landed awquardly and grabbed his sore left knee. He was able to stay in and hit two free throws but with McGrady's history of injuries, this is worth keeping an eye on.

Phoenix 114 New Jersey 86 The Suns put an Obama-sized beat down on the Nets tonight. All 5 Phoenix starters scored in double figures with Raja Bell leading the way with 22 points. The Nets were down 20 going into the 4th quarter and proceeded to score 9 points on 3-20 shooting while allowing the Suns to score 22. You don't win any games scoring 9 points or shooting 3-20 in any quarter, let alone the same quarter. Vince Carter scored 19 while "Chairman" Yi added 15.

Dallas 98 San Antonio 81
The Mavericks bounced back nicely and sent the Spurs to 0-3. Jason Terry made his first start of the season and responded with 29 points. Dirk's shooting touch returned as he went off for 30 points. Tim Duncan had a solid game with 19 points and 15 rebounds but knows that something is just not right with his Spurs. Duncan had this to say after the game about the Spurs 0-3 start, "Uncharted territory for us, we've played some bad basketball so far, to say he least."  The Spurs are obvioulsy missing that third option of Manu Ginobili. A lot of experts thought that Spurs would stuggle without him but no one thought it would get this bad. In case you are wondering, the Spurs are on pace for 0-82.

No news or notes tonight, like I said really didn't pay much attention to the NBA tonight. So have at it.
