It was yet another painful weekend for Spartan fans. When asked why I wasn't more excited with a 10-point lead late in the game, my response was "because they're going to lose," so I wasn't totally crushed.

The heartbreak was aided by Chad Henne's last departure (don't let the door hit you on the way out) from Spartan Stadium. He may have been incapable of falling down during his 4 years against Michigan State, but at least he looked like a fool leaving the field.

Sorry about the loss to UM, CF.  Obviously, Michigan has to "go off the sheet" and win the rest, to make Oregon look better.

That made me laugh out loud. I thought it was funny that Nessler didn't say anything about him falling or even chuckle.
