Rosenhaus has ties with HBO as a former contributor to the show Arliss and a regular on HBO's Real Sports. There's no doubt his ties with HBO allowed him the opportunity to bring Johnson to Miami.
"My personality was controlled last year (in New England)," Johnson told the Miami Herald. "You didn't hear me at all last year. Zero. Zilch. When my mouth is running, it forces me to perform. It's never been vindictive. I never got anybody in trouble.
"One of the things I like about being here, that's so refreshing, and is such a weight off my back, is I can be me, whatever that entails. When I can be me, I am loose. Everything just flows for me. Whether it's the style of play, the way I learn."
Who isn't excited to see what Johnson has in store for the NFL this season? Who doesn't want to see a Chad touchdown celebration this year? The NFL needs an outspoken, cocky and egocentric player like Johnson to dominate headlines and spike interest in the game even more so. It will definitely be a Hard Knocks to remember, even if the Dolphins aren't meant to contend.
