Chad Johnson Speaks to Brian Kenny on Sportscenter

Recess shenanigans at the Marvin R. Lewis Elementary School continue in Cincinnati.

Last night, before Chris Henry said goodbye to his football career, Chad Johnson joined Brian Kenny on Sportscenter and the results ... well, awk-ward. You've likely seen this already because ESPN has only shown it repeatedly all evening and morning. It's still worth listening to again.

Props to Kenny for clearly catching Johnson off guard with several quotes from Marvin Lewis that set him off.

BK: "Marvin Lewis says he's prepared to move on if you sit out. What do you say to that?"
BK: "It's unfortunate Chad put himself in that situation because a lot of people who really had a affection for him, now see him in a different light."

And off Chad goes. Enjoy.

It's a shame T.J. Houshmandzadeh is so well behaved.

You can have him... He is a freaking cry baby!!  I am tired of these freaking spoiled athletes.  He signs a contract and then complains a year and a half later.  I am so freaking tired of being a Bengals fan.

Ha... you should work in sports radio for a take like that.  I don't really care whether he is a model citizen off the field or not... he is a cancer much like TO.  Teams that win don't tolerate that kind of stuff.  You can't have a guy assaulting coaches and expect to win games.  I love that he hasn't been arrested and don't mind the TD celebrations but when he began airing dirty laundry publicly and calling out his coach and teamates that's when it goes to far... and by the way to say that TO or Chad are "baited" into something is hilarious... no one loves the attention more than TO and Chad... I don't think you get baited into doing sit ups in your driveway.

I've been a big Chad supporter up to this point but he is acting completely stupid about this.  He wants out of here because he doesn't think the Bengals are dedicated to winning.  That and the local media gave a pretty hard way to go last season.  If he would just come out and say that I think people would respect him for that but he wants to play this game and try not to get everybody mad at him.  Last week he was saying that he is doing this for the fans and now he says he has to do what's best for himself.  Give me a break.
