It's kind of hard to imagine that you can find yourself in a must-win game in Week 6 of the NFL season, but that's exactly where the Chargers are. They're 2-2 and facing the 5-0 Broncos. If the Chargers lose this game, it's damn near over. So the good news is that this game should bring out the best in both teams. The Broncos want to cement their status as the team that's going to win the AFC West and the Chargers are going to do everything possible to try and prevent that. Or at least I think the Chargers are going to try and do that. With Norv Turner as your head coach, you never really know what you're going to get.
As well as the Broncos have played so far this year, I'm still a tad skeptical. Not that they aren't a good team, they are definitely a good team. But are they a great team? A team that will seriously be contending for a Super Bowl? If they shut San Diego down tonight, then yes, I think we can start talking about them being right there. Road wins against division rivals are always quality wins - unless of course we're talking about Browns/Steelers or any team in the NFC West.
So you know, 65% of FanIQ is going with the Broncos. I'm also shocked the Chargers are getting 6.5 points at home. But I guess you guys and Vegas know more than I do.
Strap yourself in for tonight's game. It should be a good one, and it's totally possible the AFC West could be decided tonight. Chat it up here.
