Chargers Win 4th Straight AFC West... Bolts Fans Still Searching For Super Bowl Win #1 Though.

“There must have been 10 people on the sideline and I’ve had 10 people since the game say that’s got to be the loudest they’ve ever heard our stadium,” Turner said. “Our fans were unbelievable.”

Here is a short video clip I took of "The moment of Silence" for Chris Henry.

The Chargers pulled off the victory Sunday over the emotionally charged Cincinnati Bengals. I attended the game, and came across many Bengals fans who were very classy. I always have respect for fans who show up to NFL games dressed completely in the "Visiting Team's" attire. Most Chargers fans at the game were respectful to Bengals fans, but a few idiots acted like Raiders fans were in attendance this past Sunday.

Chad Ocho Cinco was clutch as he burnt Antonio Cromartie on a "hitch-n-go" route to the house...Carson Palmer was phenomenal, and the running game of the Bengals is more dangerous than NFL fans think.

The fans at the game were louder than any game I've ever seen at Qualcomm Stadium which used to be called Jack Murphy Stadium originally San Diego Stadium. Chargers fans know football, and they knew the #2 Seed in the AFC was on the line Sunday.

Chargers fans also know that we've been here before...We've even been to the AFC Championship, and believe it or not the Bolts have been in 1 Super Bowl. You just probably forgot because the Niners spanked them 49-26.

My point here is that as a Chargers fan, I cannot rest until the Vince Lombardi Trophy can be showcased at Chargers Park. We don't win the Super Bowl, then again we are "JUST" the AFC West Champions.

Will this be the season? Can the Chargers finally pick up some Super Bowl Rings?

Great win for the Chargers and their fans yesterday! It's just too bad that the Officials MISSED an Illegal Substitution Penalty on Tomlinson in the waning seconds of the game that would have been a 5 yard penalty making that 3rd down a wee bit harder to pick up!  (But that's what Home Field Advantage is all about huh?) ....... Just saying!

The refs were atrocious yesterday...The play you are talking about also should have taken another 10 second run-off for the Chargers...

The refs also missed a defensive holding call on Antonio Gates where the defender pulled his jersey so much that one of his shoulder pads popped out.

Then on a Quentin Jammer interception, Jammer got tackled by his facemask and no flag.

What about no penalty being called on Cedric Benson for punching Steve Gregory in the head? And he did it right in front of the Chargers bench next to the ref...

What about no penalty being called on Jonathan Joseph for hitting Malcolm Floyd helmet to helmet in the first quarter, giving him a bloodied mouth, and causing him to miss a quarter?

On 3rd and 8 deep in Bengals territory Shanwe Merriman was call for encroachment when the Begnals Offensive Guard flinched like he was stung by a bee...

There was another Missed Pass Interference Call on Vincent Jackson (similar to when he was tackled in Dallas)..Chargers could have put the game away then, but threw an INT after that...

Home-Field Advantage was about the loudest crowd in the History of Qualcomm stadium...

If Leon Hall, who ironically played High School Football where my little brother plays Varsity Baseball, would have had some better luck, the Bengals may have pulled this game out. They gave the Chargers 46 yards in 56 seconds with no timeouts!

This is by far the strongest Chargers team I've seen since Marty's last year.  They are the only team that really scares me as a Colts fan.  They just have to hope Norv doesn't somehow screw it up in the divisional round.

Tell you the truth...The Colts are really sick of the Chargers picking them apart in the regular season and playoffs the last few seasons. Peyton Manning is looking for some serious revenge!!! I fear the Colts a little bit just based on the fact they are out to get the Bolts!

If there is any way the Patriots, Bengals, Ravens, Steelers, or anyone else could knock off the Colts in INDY 1st round, I would love to see the AFC Championship played in S.D. I realize you have to beat the best, but an undefeated Colts team who is seeking major revenge on the Chargers is a daunting thought for Bolts fans.

Thank you, Eric, for your perspective on the game, and the respect paid to Chris Henry.  I only wish I'd been able to see the game on TV, but as always, work got in the way of fun.

Much as I hate Norv, he's had a great season. Chargers looked lost early on with some bad injuries on the defensive side of the ball but recovered remarkably well.

Also, Norv is good in the playoffs. If there's anything he excels at it, it's winning in the playoffs. This team has underachieved in the regular season the last few years, but they always play well in the playoffs. And they almost always knock the Colts out. So yeah, I can understand why you don't want to see them.
