Cheating comes in many forms, whether its thru taking performance enhancing drugs, corking bats, stealing signs, video taping other teams sidelines, betting on your own team and shaving points. ETC....... Its pretty pathetic when you think about it. I mean come on, your getting paid millions upon millions of dollars to play Professional sports and its not enough that your playing the game youve grown to love, but getting paid to do so and not have to endure the work world of 40 plus hrs a week 5 days a week stress of us normal human beings, that you have to cut corners and try to do things to enhance your abilities above what they already are. Life isnt about that. What message are we sending the next generation of pro athletes or even next generation of life itself, this is on TV and is always in the papers and on the news. All people pro athletes and non are getting affected by this and will eventually corrupt us in everyday life in the future, if it hasnt already. Just be yourself. If its batting .290 and not .300 so be it. If its getting 50 HR's and not 70 its cool. If its winning 10 NFL games and not 16 its fine too. Cause getting a HR title or .300 career batting average isnt worth years upon years in jail. Im sure you would be the best athlete in jail at that point but maybe not, cause in the future the jail system will have a PRO team of some sort due to the overpopulation of PRO athletes in those jails. DONT DO DRUGS!! this message goes out to ALL SPORTS, Olympics included.
