Chelsea is set to fight over the services of Malaga youngster Isco during the summer transfer window. Talk from around the block brings forth news of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich preparing a big bid for the coveted Spanish midfielder.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is one of the hottest transfer prospects in the football market. Chelsea believe they can find themselves a new Frank Lampard in Isco. The English midfield maestro Frank Lampard is set to make his exit from Chelsea at the end of the season.

Frank Lampard’s departure from Stamford Bridge will leave a huge hole in the heart of Chelsea midfield. Even though Frank Lampard has spent most of the season on the bench, the attacking midfielder has performed where it counter the most. Frank Lampard, who is the top goal-scoring midfielder in the Premier League, has scored seven goals in 17 appearances this season.

It is believed Isco is of the same mold as Frank Lampard, which is why Chelsea are eager to sign him in
The Chelsea brass are expected to launch a £15 million bid for Isco’s services. Malaga hope to retain the services of their crown jewel, but they can’t turn down the transfer request once Isco shows desire to move away from the Spanish club.

Isco is believed to make a big move in the upcoming years if Chelsea fails to sign him in. Real Madrid and Barcelona are also showing interest in the youngster, although they haven’t made any official bids.

Isco has been pivotal to Malaga’s success this season. The attacking midfielder has helped Malaga enter the last 16 stage of Champions League and break into the top four of La Liga.

Isco is doing wonders at Malaga under Manuel Pellegrini. The former Real Madrid manager is hoping Isco would extend his stay in Spain, but with Chelsea offering a better contract and a greater opportunity to win titles Isco will opt to move away any day of the week.
