The upcoming winter transfer window is expected to bring more problems than promises of a brighter future for Liverpool. Transfer reports suggest Luis Suarez will find himself stranded in the middle of a huge transfer battle this fall.

The 25-year-old Uruguay international has been in spectacular goal-scoring form for Liverpool since the beginning of the season. Luis Suarez’s impressive tally has attracted a lot of attention from top notch clubs around Europe.

Chelsea, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus were eager to sign in the striker during the summer transfer window. Recent reports reveal Chelsea’s renewed interest in Luis Suarez will break war between the Champions League winning side and Liverpool this fall.

The new Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez, who was kicked out of Anfield just a couple of years ago, will play an interesting role in this transfer saga if the London outfit does approach Liverpool with an official bid for Luis Suarez.

Not surprisingly, Rafael Benitez has turned out to be an unpopular figure at Stamford Bridge. The Spaniard’s derogatory comments about Chelsea from back when he was with Liverpool are probably the cause of this detest. Perhaps, stealing from his former club will help Chelsea fans get over their hate for Rafael Benitez.

Luis Suarez, who was subjected to a £40 million last summer, has yet to decide whether he will continue playing for Liverpool next season. This means Luis Suarez will be available in the transfer market during the summers. Well, this leads us to presume that Luis Suarez will be interested in a winter move if an attractive transfer deal is brought to the table.

Brendan Rodgers believes Luis Suarez will remain loyal to the club, although he is known to ‘rub people up the wrong way’.

“He is a good man and a wonderful player and if you work with him, you see why managers will love him and why supporters idolize him,” Brendan Rodgers said in attempt to shun transfer rumors surrounding Luis Suarez.

“He gives it his all. He trains very day and is never injured and is never in the medical room. He is an absolute dream.

“In January we will make reinforcements.”

Luis Suarez has scored 13 goals and assisted six times in 19 appearances for Liverpool this season.

So the new four year contract and the interview last week where he said he was very happy are irrelevant?
