I am not exactly someone who believes in fate. Personally, I am a proponent of free will. But that said, I also think that you should avoid tempting fate, just to be on the safe side.

The Cubs, apparently, do not agree.

As you can see below, these are tickets that the Cubs are currently issuing since they've made the playoffs. But you may notice one thing wrong with these tickets, which is that they say "World Series" on them. Might be getting a bit ahead of yourselves there, Cubs.

I'd have to think these tickets aren't going over real well with the fanbase, especially because they could be start of yet another curse. Remember, Cubs fans are still dealing with the Curse of the Billy Goat.

Anyway, good luck Chicago Cubs. May these tickets come to fruition, rather than be used as toilet paper following your now inevitable first round loss.

Agree it's a little eerie to see Cubs and World Series on the same ticket. But every team does this because of lead times, etc, in the printing process.

Nothing can jinx this team anymore than they already have been.

There is no curse, there never was a curse, and there will be no curse in the future. The players make it happen and I highly doubt any of them even know that these have been released. And if they do, well, I'm sure none of them care. This is one of the most focused teams in baseball right now and because of that and only that.......IT'S GONNA HAPPEN!!!
