Here on the blog, we occasionally run cheerleader posts or that "who's the hottest fan?" junk. That's fine for us to do, after all, we're just a blog. But I usually expect more from the mainstream press. But times, they are a changin'.

In an effort to I assume increase their seriously lagging readership, the Chicago Sun-Times is running a who's hotter contest (read: women) pitting Cubs fans against White Sox fans in preparation for the teams' June interleague clash. +100 for journalism!

Unfortunately, The Sun-Times is new to the game and is asking people to judge based on pictures like these.



Whoa man is it ever getting hot here, but that's just because I have my radiator turned on.

Since the Sun-Times has lost all credibility at this point anyway, I mean for God's sake they employ Jay Mariotti, they might as well just go all in. And let me help them out a bit. Here are much better photos of what I would deem to be hot fans.



All right Sun-Times, no need to thank me. I'm just doing my job. Now hop to it and step it up a bit.

Well it looks like on the Trib poll the White Sox fans brought a Nerf football to a knife fight. Okay I am not afraid to say the Sox are getting boat raced here, but if we were to look at these fans souls and if they have one, then things tilt south . . . .

just judging from the two pics at the top, which are a small sampling I'm sure, Cubs win.  The Sox fan looks like she's wearing OVERALLS, for cryin' out loud.  Or maybe I should put in my contacts.

top one is the only one I think there is much of a chance of actually being a major cubs fan...   

 

I like the girl in the middle, Kellie (she was my favorite part of that season of American Idol and I think she is a great interview in terms of enjoyment and humor).

 

but yeah, they have shown some extremely attractive women in the stands wearing cubs clothing during the "Fan Cam" section of the Cubs games.

Well, I will say this, the two pictures of the girls that was posted on here are pretty hott but if any of the ladies look like any of the 3 in this post, then I will consider the Cubs my 2nd favorite team behind the Braves!  lol  I will say that Kellie Pickler (in the 2nd pic) is good looking but the brunette above her is SMOKIN' HOTT!  I always thought Chicago was known for losing....I guess now they are known for other things!  lol

I kept clicking on the next picture to see a hot fan but never came across one.  There are some UGLY fans in Chicago.  They need to do one in the Bay Area and LA.

Hmm, ok so anyone can show almost full frontal nudity and it be considered hot. All girls have boobs, and if not, they're easy to obtain. But what about the face? The rest of the body? And pigtails??

Don't be too sure about that. It's quite possible the Cubs threw the 1918 Series.
