Mandatory Credit: Russ Isabella-US PRESSWIREAlong with Dwight Howard, the Lakers also acquired guard Chris Duhon and forward Earl Clark. The Lakers traded Josh McRoberts and Christian Eyenga away to the Magic.

Neither of the Lakers' new guys will make a terribly big impact, but where they will help out is on the Lakers' paper thin bench. GM Mitch Kupchak made some major moves this offseason acquiring players like Antawn Jamison and Jodie Meeks which have definitely helped to deepen the bench.

A perk of bringing both of these guys to LA is that Dwight will be comfortable with his old teammates surrounding him. Familiar faces are always a good thing.

What the Lakers can expect out of Duhon is for him to challenge Steve Blake to step up and play better, because you better believe he'll be gunning for that spot. He's not an elite point guard, but has all the makings to be a very good one. His last two seasons during his time in Orlando were his worst ever, but that will likely change with the team he's got around him now, and Knicks-like numbers can be expected.

Earl Clark is a 6'10" forward who can step in and give Pau Gasol, and possibly Howard some rest time. He'll be the fourth big-man option, after Jamison, but it's still likely that he'll get notable playing time. His presence in this trade is nothing to get excited over, but something to smile about.

Lakers fans, how are you feeling about your new team?
