Chris Johnson says he'll rush for 2,000 yards again

Does Chris Johnson really have another 2,000-yard season in him?

Mandatory Credit: Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY SportsAccording to Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson, his days of rushing for 2,000 yards in a season aren't over.

Johnson eclipsed the milestone in 2009, leading the NFL in rushing. Ever since, he has dropped off considerably. Last year, he rushed for 1,243 yards. That's a decent total, but nowhere near the numbers that people were expecting from him.

Johnson's running style is very inconsistent, so he'll have to have a lot of long runs if he wants to rush for 2,000 yards again.

Last year, he had a few spectacular games, including 5 games with 120+ rushing yards. Unfortunately, he also had 5 games with 30 rushing yards or less.

If he really wants to put up another 2K season, he'll have to cut down on the inconsistency and put up good numbers week in and week out. Even one bad game can completely destroy a guy's chances for 2,000 yards.

What do you think? Can Chris Johnson break 2,000 yards again? Or is this just a pipe dream?
