It is a rare sight in the NBA to see a talented post player ending up in the trade market but it is the case for Chris Kaman.
Chris Kaman is a 29-year-old center for the New Orleans Hornets and is not a player to be confused with Dwight Howard.
Still Kaman is expected to be in the trade market and frankly he will be a fine addition to any team that is ready to make a deal with him.
The Milwaukee Bucks have shown some extra interest in the news and as Andrew Bogut is scheduled to miss another six to eight weeks as he suffers from a broken ankle the team might be seriously considering recruiting Kaman into the team.
The Bucks are already a small team when compared to other teams from the NBA and Chris Kaman would make a fine addition to their roster, plus as the coaching staff was already on the lookout of adding new faces in the team then this news could not have come at a better time.
The Bucks are sitting in the eighth playoff spot and are tightly packed in the Eastern Conference and only three games stand to fill the gap to the twelfth rank.
Still there is another team that has shown great interest in Chris Kaman and that is the Atlanta Hawks, who quite recently lost Al Horford, their All-star player for the entire season as he has torn a pectoral muscle.
The Atlanta Hawks are still looking to keep a running pace in the NBA ranks, Chris Kaman could be exactly what the doctor ordered for the team and will easily be able to fill Horford’s shoes in the squad, plus with Al Horford 6 feet and 10 inches tall, Kaman would make a fine replacement as a center.
The fact of the matter is that any team that decides to recruit Chris Kaman would be gaining an all-star player who has managed to stay healthy since 2010.
Kaman is also considered to be one of the best centers in the NBA as he has averaged 11.8 points, 1.4 blocks and 8.3 rebounds per game in the season and his stats last season were even better.
A major factor that rides to make this deal successful was the price that the New Orleans Hornets agree on, plus the NBA also holds the power to veto any trade move that the team tries to make.
