After a white hot start to the season, the Clippers have hit a pretty major road bump: Chris Paul's injury.
The point guard has missed five straight games due to a bruise in his right kneecap, and will miss Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Coach Vinny Del Negro talked about the injury, saying that Paul had gotten “a bunch of therapy” and had been working out on the elliptical and other machines.
It's a good sign that he's able to do this, and at least keep in close to game shape while he's out. Bledsoe will continue to start at point guard until Paul comes back.
The Clippers are about to go on the eight game “Grammy” road trip, but the Coach said that there isn't any word if Paul will return during it because it's day-to-day.
It was encouraging that they were able to beat the Trailblazers, just one night after losing to them in Portland, and get their wins back on track. Hopefully, they can keep this momentum going.
